Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is used as a cyroprotectant for the cryopreservation of cell lines. MACGEN DMSO is cell culture grade and has been tested to assure nontoxicity and sterility.

DMSO has been filtered through a 0.2 µm PTFE membrane and aseptically dispensed. This product has applications for cyropreservation, cell culture, cell growth, and viability.
